AMION Consulting has supported the Land Trust and its business planning since its inception. This involved developing its Commencement Business Plan and a parallel Economic Impact appraisal and report. This has been followed by operational business planning support and operational and business advice on specific issues that have emerged in its activities to date. It has also involved assisting with its conversion to charitable status and “leaving” the public sector. In line with its original business plan, it is in line to achieve a fully sustainable business model by 2020 and deliver a wide range of economic social and environmental impacts.
The Trust’s structure had become unbalanced with too many reporting lines focussed on one Executive Director. We assisted the Trust in re-designing the structure and with the appointment of a new Executive Director. Previously we had also assisted with a review of the accounting function to help with staffing decisions in that function.
