We supported the preparation of a successful application by a local authority for funding under the Coastal Revival Fund for a feasibility study into the restoration and re-use of a historic building as a new transport visitor attraction, incorporating previously unseen collections. Support included structuring and drafting of the application, incorporating consideration of the strategic context, socio-economic benefits, local support and engagement, costs and funding, and delivery arrangements. Following approval, our Visitor & Leisure team was appointed to undertake the Feasibility Study which developed the concept within its market context, and made recommendations on a preferred option and governance arrangements.
