Alan has a background in economic and social planning and holds a degree in Town & Country Planning and a diploma in business administration. He has extensive experience in urban regeneration and economic development gained in the public and private sectors, regeneration partnerships, and in a non-departmental public body. He specialises in the development of business cases, economic appraisal and evaluation, economic strategy, and feasibility work. Alan has particular knowledge and understanding of public sector funding regimes and has provided grant-funding advice to a wide range of public and private sector clients.
