Chris leads AMION Consulting’s Visitor and Leisure team and specialises in producing business plans, options appraisals and development strategies for the heritage, culture, tourism and leisure sectors.
Chris has led major studies for a wide range of clients over the last few years including English Heritage and the National Trust as well as many local authorities, combined authorities, charities of all sizes and private sector operators and owners.
Before turning her hand to consultancy in 2007, Chris held various senior roles within the culture, heritage and tourism sectors. As Managing Director of Magna, she worked on the conversion of a former steel works in South Yorkshire, into a major new visitor attraction, conference centre and business park. In the fifteen years before that, she held a number of senior marketing and commercial posts at various visitor attractions in the UK including Our Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays and Mersey Ferries in Liverpool.
