Jonathan is an Associate Director in the Regeneration & Evaluation team with over 15 years of consultancy experience in a range of economic analysis, policy and strategic planning projects. He has managed projects for a range of public and private sector organisations including government departments, local authorities, combined authorities, universities, LEPs and the private sector. His work covers a wide range of economic development activities covering inclusion, innovation, skills and employment, regeneration and infrastructure.
Prior to working at AMION, Jonathan worked at South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and led the Policy Team on a wide range of major policy, research and analytical projects. He has also worked for a major international multidisciplinary consultancy where he led on several projects for clients such as HS2, Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Highways England and Transport for the North.
At AMION, he has managed a number of high profile projects including the economic impact of Eurovision in Liverpool and the evaluation of Historic England’s High Street Action Zones. His project experience has covered issues such as social value, innovation, town centre regeneration and labour market dynamics.
Jonathan holds an MA in Local and Regional Development from Newcastle University and is a Member of the Institute of Economic Development.
