Kelan O’Kane

Graduate Consultant

Kelan joined AMION in 2024 as a Graduate Consultant, following his graduation from Queen’s University, Belfast with a First Class degree in Economics, and is a member of the Royal Economics Society.  Kelan has gained a familiar understanding of the HMT Green and Magenta Books, as well as the MHCLG Appraisal Guide, and has assisted and contributed to a variety of projects during his time within AMION’s Economics team.

During his university studies, Kelan specialised in economic development and public policy, in addition to the measurement of unmonetisable benefits, and how to use these methods to shape future projects.  This interest informed his decision to base his academic modules around these interests, including evaluating the economic and social benefit measurement methods of conducting large public sector interventions, in addition to his work on the effect of government policy on economic growth.
