Megan has recently joined AMION as a Graduate Consultant within the Evaluation and Regeneration team. Megan graduated from the University of Sheffield with a First-Class Economics degree, where she gained a particular interest in behavioural and socioeconomics.
Between graduating university and starting her role at AMION, Megan spent 18 months working as a Graduate Economist at United Utilities where she was able to apply economic principles to real-world challenges. During her time there, she gained extensive experience in developing and drafting regulatory submissions and played a key role in shaping and drafting United Utilities’ 2024 Business Plan. Megan’s role as a Graduate Economist also involved drawing upon economic theory to provide advice and insight to drive decision-making across the business, as well as conducting analysis to understand what drives cost and performance when delivering a water and wastewater service. Throughout her degree and subsequent employment Megan has developed a passion for driving positive change through economic insight.
