Molly is an Economics graduate from the University of Bristol who joined AMION in September 2023 as a Graduate Consultant. Molly joined the Visit and Leisure team in 2024 and prior to this, Molly worked in AMION’s Regeneration and Evaluation team. Molly assists the team in preparation of visitor forecasts, master plans, feasibility studies, funding applications and carrying out socio-economic and policy research.
At university, Molly studied a variety of economics modules and developed a particular interest in social and environmental disciplines and the communication of economics. She completed an applied economics dissertation focussing on labour and household dynamics decision making analysing both over time and for varying demographics. This required the use of econometric tools and practices using STATA. She particularly enjoyed the Behavioural Economics module during her final year.
Molly is currently enrolled on a part-time MSc Strategic Communication course at the University of Liverpool. This course is cross-disciplinary, with focus on the use of narrative to build dialogue with stakeholders, the role of media to inform strategic planning, and the contexts and practices of communications that affect and are affected by strategy
